Rules (adapted from Integrity's)

- Ratings are for Normal Mode.

- Votes need some explanation regarding their gameplay performance to be counted. If somebody else said what you want to already, quote them explicitly.

+/- ≤1 point extra regarding personality/appearance is encouraged, but no more. If you exercise your bias privileges, please do so explicitly.

- Votes are made out of 10. You cannot rate a unit above 10 or below 0.

- The rating topic will be updated whenever I feel like it, but I will try to allow at least 24 hours for each topic. They will generally be updated at around noon EST.

- A character being inferior relative to another character does not explicitly reduce their rating.

- Characters do not get credit for recruiting others or allowing access to side quests.

- Assume that the character in question is being recruited.

- Characters do not get credit for bringing items.

- I reserve the right to ignore any votes which are not well-supported.

- You may allow a character to use scrolls (and adjust their rating appropriately) so long as it is reasonable (you may debate what constitutes "reasonable" if you feel people may disagree with you). You cannot arbitrarily increase a unit's score by arguing that they may exclusively use half a dozen scrolls for themself. In general, scrolls will probably not add more than +1 to a character's overall rating.

- Warp skipping has an impact on scores in so far as "Safy has an high base staff rank". Nanna would score lower than Safy because of her lower rank, but no chapter is explicitly said to be skipped. You can't get Warp and then suddenly say every character after doesn't exist or requires turns to recruit. Something could be said of Xavier, or Conomore/Amalda who are in an escape chapter where Leaf starts next to the escape point.

A solid prepromote who brings a good amount of utility to the team through his Thief abilities and 5 movement stars which can potential give him a great deal of flexibility. On top of this, he has passable combat through a combination of Ambush, Sunlight Sword, and B-rank swords and a PCC of 5. His base build isn't anything impressive, but it's at least on par with what Lifis will most likely have unless he's being heavily trained. 8/10

Another versatile unit coming up. When one looks at his stats, for a level 3 Thief Fighter, there's nothing that impressive. 24 HP/5 Defense on a promoted sword unit sounds barely better than what Mareeta had a whole tier below him, but he does have a lot of perks that make him a solid unit.

First of all, he can steal, which gives him easy experience for a prepromoted unit. Unlike Rivis, he's also a great fighter. 7 base Strength isn't that great, but a wonderful PCC of 5 makes it almost a non issue, especially with swords that give some critical like the Rapier, or the high powered sword a base B rank gives like Silver, Hero or his starting King. He even has another pair of useful skills in Sun Sword and Ambush, which at least helps his defensive shortcomings. Add the Elite Sword into the mix, and suddenly he's not so fragile against physical attackers. In case that wasn't enough, he has five movement stars. 25% chance to move again is extremely fun to steal a pair of valuable items, fight twice or retreat after taking too much damage. For added utility, he does give three supports to Lara, Salem and Trewd.

He also possesses fairly good growths in most areas. Neir is most wanted on him to bolster his Defense and Build. A bit of Odo to raise his base Skill faster, some Hezul for HP and some Dain for more Defense if you can afford it. As a competant magic sword user, he can probably hold on the Heim scroll once your magic units are done with it too. The chapter 18 Build ring is likely going to him. With some Build level ups, we're looking at neutering those pesky Dark Mages before they leave a unit crippled with poison and low health, among other goodies we can get such as staves and other weapons.

A Swordmaster and a Thief in one delectable unit, offering a lot of various utility.

Now, unless Lifis has been hogging the Neir, you'll want this guy. He's got PCC, skills and a fairly decent build. Of course, he's a little fragile, but he can steal himself some good levels... his growths aren't that bad either. Toss his a scroll or two, and he'll be away. Neir makes him wonderful, if he can hit 12 or 13 con, he's golden.

One of the best prepromotes. Can steal and lockpick, has great fighting skills, Sol Skill, comes with an awesome sword, and completely outclasses Rifis on a normal run. Definitely a guy you want in your team.

Absolutely amazing. My favourite thief in the whole damned series. Steals, fights, has good growths, etc., etc. 10/10

Pahn is an example of why you don't judge a unit by its bases in Thracia. They blow, but he has the super-broken Steal (Lifis probably won't have matched Pahn's build unless he's promoted) the always-handy Ambush (don't fear weakened enemies!) and the sexy Sun Sword (he can kinda-sorta tank!). A bit better than pure filler! Even though he's probably a pedophile, I like him more than Lifis!

What more could you want from someone having good skills to make him a good frontliner once you grow him enough skill with the Odo Scroll upping his chances to activate Sun Hit. He will need the Neir Scroll to steal better and giving him the Heim scroll for awhile can get him to average in about 12 Mag giving him great Mag Def at LV20. I actually got him this much in a few of my runs. Plus with his higher luck, he has better dodge than Rifis. Overall, a Thief to use if you don't want to bother with Rifis. Might be more considerable to use him over Rifis. Even though Rifis has better availability. He also should get the Body Ring to make up for his later joining time. 5 PCC along with a 2x effect weapon and being able to move twice often (25% chance) makes this guy worth using in every run. Period!

8/10

Rifis had 8.9. .9 more for his better availability.
