If somebody else said what you want to already, quote them explicitly. +/- ≤1 point extra regarding personality/appearance is encouraged, but no more. If you exercise your bias privileges, please do so explicitly. - Votes are made out of 10. You cannot rate a unit above 10 or below 0. - The rating topic will be updated whenever I feel like it, but I will try to allow at least 24 hours for each topic. They will generally be updated at around noon EST. - A character being inferior relative to another character does not explicitly reduce their rating. - Characters do not get credit for recruiting others or allowing access to side quests. - Assume that the character in question is being recruited. - Characters do not get credit for bringing items. - I reserve the right to ignore any votes which are not well-supported. - You may allow a character to use scrolls (and adjust their rating appropriately) so long as it is reasonable (you may debate what constitutes "reasonable" if you feel people may disagree with you). You cannot arbitrarily increase a unit's score by arguing that they may exclusively use half a dozen scrolls for themself. In general, scrolls will probably not add more than +1 to a character's overall rating. - Warp skipping has an impact on scores in so far as "Safy has an high base staff rank". Nanna would score lower than Safy because of her lower rank, but no chapter is explicitly said to be skipped. You can't get Warp and then suddenly say every character after doesn't exist or requires turns to recruit. Something could be said of Xavier, or Conomore/Amalda who are in an escape chapter where Leaf starts next to the escape point. Unfortunately, it's difficult for her to make good use of it, as her base defensive stats are extremely poor and stronger enemies can easily kill her in a single hit, although if she survives her PCC of 5 will ensure that she regains all of her HP. Unfortunately, she's dragged down by the fact that she cannot promote before chapter 21, which makes it impossible to quickly promote her for the increased staff rank. Icon of Sin Posted June 28, 2012 Share Posted June 28, 2012 Another underlevelled unit who joins midgame but has a lot of utility nontheless. Much like Salem before her, she joins with a C rank in Staves, but she also comes with a B rank in Light for easy Resire access, 5 PCC and recieves support bonuses from Leaf and Dean, giving a bonus to the latter as well. She also comes with the benefit of not using a Knight Proof to promoted thanks to a fixed promotion. Chapter 21 might be a bit late, but it gives her plenty of time to get her growths growing. In terms of scrolls, she has more or less the same needs as Homeros, though since she can stay away from combat and gain experience, Dain isn't as needed and Hezul is mostly there to combat fatigue. She does have a low base Skill of 4, so giving her the Odo scroll early on is a definite helps so that she doesn't miss for long. Quite versatile with staves, free (if a bit late) promotion and a good offense, but low durability without Resire. 7.75/10 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

After all, trying to...let's say, take down Reinhardt the hard way with someone like Trude or Mareeta probably isn't such a hot idea. Linoan starts with a C-rank in staffs and she has yet to get her promotion. So she will have little trouble getting her rank up in time. With her access to Rezire and her 5 PCC she beats Salem's offensive capabilities easily. She completely wrecks enemies handily but fatigues a lot faster because of her low HP. She will take longer to get access to warp, but by the time it gets really important, she will have access to it so it's not too bad. Plus, she gets supported by Leaf and Dean. She also supports Dean back for a massive 20% boast, though Dean probably won't be around very much. Nevertheless, having access to Rezire goes a long way to help her durability. She should benefit from Wind since Rizaia weighs her down having low BLD. Her great Speed and Luck+Wind makes her great for 24X. But because she joins fairly late... 7.1/10 She's a beauty too. She's pretty decent, she can get a few solid levels in the chapter she appears in but she doesn't really bring anything new to the table, due to the abundance of mages and staff users.
