Right now it's going to Maria, actually. As soon as we get the Tempest feathers, I should have enough to promote her, and then I can start giving her skills for a particularly themed team I want to build. But she needs the SAD Seal for now, because the Maria with the most SP is unfortunately -Spd. It can be changed once I promote the +Atk/-Res Maria and merge them.

Oh wait that was Rezzy who said Catria couldn't be Marth's mistress and be happy

Suddenly this new update has made me want to build the +Atk/-Def Maria I had as a pitybreaker in the first Hero Fest. Gave her Atk+3. I have two Gennys so I could give her one for Wrathful Staff I guess but I think i'll wait for now.

Sadly my main account Mara is -+Res/Spd. I do have a 4 star one that's +Def/-Atk though but with the new healing buffs it seems you want more Atk to heal more

I have to wonder what all the hub-bub is about Catria. Sure she's my favorite of the 3 sisters but some of the users on here really enjoy her and I've seen some pretty nasty builds.

Kinda reminds me that in my first month of the game I pulled her and she was a heavy hitter in my earlygame. Turns out she was +ATK/-DEF and I've since pulled a +SPD/-RES variant of her.

I wonder which would be better if I were to use her.

I'd say +Spd/-Res. More speed is always good, and she's not a Restank flier and she's a melee battler anyway, so she needs Def.

I think Catria and Abel were my first proper blues when the game started, although Abel was better at deleting swords back in the sword-heavy meta.

Her statline is too balanced and not as specialised as the more prominently offensive lance fliers like Tana, Cordelia, or Est. Not to say she is bad or anything, more like she is overshadowed by these.

She is very enjoyable to use and build nonetheless for various reasons.

Default Catria actually surprised me so many times pre-skill inheritance. Seal Atk + Armored Blow really adds up making her a good duelist in those days. Seal Atk sometimes saved me back when I didn't have good units.

I probably like Palla better though- also one of my first proper red sword units, along with Hana. I find Palla even more too balanced though but at least her Ruby Sword gives her a proper role before Elincia came out. Also great skills to inherit admittedly.

Being one of my early 5★s, Catria was amazing for me pre-inheritance. She even tanked Takumi, and that’s with Def/HP. She was on my arena team since she first appeared in an arena bonus line-up in season 5 or something and until I got my first Reinhardt.

She is great, like a queen of the skies is supposed to be.

Unfortunatly the 5 star Catrias that I get have poor boons.

+Res/-Atk for my main (free summon at least)

+HP/-Spd for my second account

I guess she can be Killer Lance -> Slaying Lance to Oboro?

I have a 4 star Catria that is still better anyway

My Oboro got a killer+ from the –Atk Shanna I got from the gauntlet banner. Overkiller is nice and blue and fits both Catria’s and Oboro’s colour schemes beautifully.

From what I've seen she performs best with either a +ATK boon with a Slaying Lance+ (+SPD) or with a +SPD boon with the same lance (+ATK) running Darting Blow 3 oddly enough with the B skill of your choice and her usual Luna.

A nifty build, but costly, and the blue spots on my Flyer Emblem have already been taken up, so she's on the backburner. If anything I need to build this +ATK Palla I got a while back because the red spot on my team is crying. No Elincia, no ToD!Nowi. The same Neutral *4 Palla that I got my very fist week of playing Heroes. She's stood the test of time, but she's pretty obsolete at this point.

That's fair, there are too many blue fliers. 

At least Palla has the best Defense out of the sword fliers and can take a hit? Useful for GHBs.

I have a +Spd one I've levelled up. I find her stats too balanced as well, so extra speed is nice.

Speaking of blue fliers, is Valter worth promoting? I promoted Cordelia recently, but I'm wondering if I need a bulkier flier. All my other fliers like Catria and Hinoka are -Atk..

Both of my *5 Fliers are -ATK, but Hinoka is mostly a honebot and S!Corrin has Blarblade+ so when she gets those buffs it pretty much doesn't matter. 

They say Valter is good but in my opinion a well built Cordelia, Est (That are +ATK or +SPD) or even a promoted Catria can match his performance.

Palla will probably get promoted unless Elincia pops up randomly, but she's served me well this entire year so she's on the backburner. Going to sit on 40k feathers to promote 2 Matthews when a +ATK one shows up or just have a stash handy in case a unit is in the tempest that I need to do promoting for.

I love my Valter, though I mostly use him to delete Black Knights in AA. For some reason, that's what his role always seems to end up being...

I believe this is worth a watch, particularly since it's about a guy who spent over $12k on gacha, his mindset, etc. Maybe it can help you realise whether or not you've got a gambling addiction thing going on.

This is why I will forever stay F2P, spending a lot of money in a gacha does not appeal to me.  I understand buying things in game every once in awhile if you want to support the game, but don't go blowing all the money you have on it.

A rating system and an identification system during purchases is a good start, as well educating the public about their potential for addiction. I do not mind charging a sin tax on gachas either to finance educating the public. However, I am generally against heavier handed regulations that micro manages a business's operations, such as banning smoking entirely in restaurants rather than allowing businesses to pay a license to allow smoking on their premises.

Somebody redpill me how to make Valter really good. I was excited to promote him but ever since doing so he's probably been my least-impressive flier after Camilla (since she's still not built yet).. He looks so good on paper, but I just haven't found much use for him.

Her sexy/seductiveness is a little forced in her heroes, I agree. I always saw her as like a creepy goth girl that doesn't actually realize she's hot. Why seduce when she can hex? :^)

Really wondering how I can stack Matthew's ATK with a support partner.

I've decided I'm going to use my spare Fjorm as Drive ATK 3 fodder but I'm wondering what I should do. Fjorm can buff his ATK and SPD if I give him a water blessing. If I support him with Erika she can give him Hone ATK and Drive ATK on top of supports for 9 boosted ATK.

...Or I can play the waiting game for the eventual Hone ATK 3 seal. Then when the legendary fire hero comes around with the Attack+3 skill I can support them.

42 ATK + 4 (Hone ATK Seal) + 3 (Drive ATK 2) + 2 (Support) + 3 (Fire Season) + 6 (Rogue Dagger+ debuff) = 60 ATK.

60 ATK on Matt sounds nice. But this would be assuming that the fire Legendary hero wasn't an amazing unit on it's own with some sort of great C skill already or potential for another seal. I'd really like to stack Hone and Drive ATK but I can currently only do what with Erika.

...Guess I'll play the waiting game.

This actually. Same with Rhajat. And Camilla, they tried too hard to up the sexiness with the art and VA but it isn't really working and comes as too forced.

Also about Valter...maybe because he's more defensive than the Res Peg Knights but unlike Subaki, actually has an Attack stat?
