  1. @Diovani Bressan Lol the only source of damage was Poison Strike. RIP.

@LordFrigid I was expecting someone to bust out one of the Byleths. Unblockable Galeforce is always great.

@NSSKG151 Damn, +10 FTiki... All those dragonslaying weapons could barely do much, and your Tikis returned fire with their own breaths. RIP.

@Flying Shogi Nice Nino team. Both Peg and Winter Nino are pretty strong. Do you have a built Jaffar, or are you more of a Nino x Erk person?

@Landmaster RIP all their Specials. If they won't let you use any with Ruse, you won't let them use any either lol.

    @mcsilas @Zeo @Alexmender

No theme or anything, just a bunch of units I built and seldom use.

  2. @Hilda So Anna wasn't in the Book III ending movie because she was irrelevant, she was just the one holding the gun. Seems like the narrow corridors worked against the enemies here, even though turn 2 was looking so crowded.

@SatsumaFSoysoy - Kagero making the most use out of her Prf’s damage reduction here. Celica was also great with how much she had to maneuver around and survive all of the attacks she was tanking. Well done!

Celica is pretty great. Maybe she will do all of this even better with her refine, though it seems the ally proximity requirement for her cd acceleration is still present unfortunately.

Very powerful ladies. I see you even skipped the last reinforcement lol. Are you trying for a Bernie for Atk/Spd Push on Hero Fest?

@SatsumaFSoysoy: I completely forgot the cake Cutter was a thing after it stopped being known for powercreeping the dark greatsword. Celica made good use of the extra power boost though. Still lots of her tearing through the enemy.

I got it from the somewhat-recent Double banner, so I decided why not.

Any use of Sharena is good. It's not every day one sees a DC Repel Sharena out in the open, but she was definitely effective.

You definitely seem to love using atypical units. I don't think I've seen a Merric in an Abyssal before, and Snacki is also really rare (I think I used her once myself?). They did pretty well in their roles though, and Siegbert rounded things out.

@NSSKG151 Damn. This clear takes the cake in terms of openers. Ruptured Sky killing the dragon perfectly was nice. The original Commander Anna got a chance to shine for once too. Really strong Annas.

@daisy jane Lol, I had trouble remembering my moves a lot too earlier on, and sometimes I still forget. You had three monsters there on your team I see. Dominance is so strong too.

@SatsumaFSoysoy Seeing Kagero so much is really making me want to build her lol. Too bad she can't galeforce. Celica did a great job as usual, quadding is definitely the way to kill Hel. Awesome clear!

I suppose ranged Galeforce would be pretty broken lol.

@Unknown Gamer11 Nice theme team. Even a full mage team doesn't mean there's a lack of defense when you have Raigh and Lugh.

  3. @LordFrigid Wow, exact lethal on Hel. Stylish.

@Some Jerk RIP Hel, walled and killed unceremoniously. I don't remember seeing you use Klein before, but that could just be my bad memory. He did pretty well with SS3.

@Maaka RIP Fir. She'll get her chance another day. Hel did a lot of damage, but Luna won't help you against a man with shit Res to begin with lul.

@Crime and Punishment Is it supposed to look like this lol?

    Spoiler

    Q2Nd5IG.png

@Diovani Bressan Claude and Yune synergize well together. Marth did his thing as usual. Hero's Blood's buffs goes towards Claude's Prf too, so that's nice.

    @mcsilas @Landmaster @Zeo @DLNarshen

This one was relatively easy for me, I'd say. Celica needed firepower more than flexibility in this one, so I opted for Cake Knife over Slaying Edge. Couldn't find a good opener on turn 1, so waiting was the way better idea. Most of my resets were spent on figuring out how to break out of turn 4 in particular. Savage Blow did the trick and pushed stuff into ORKOs.

@SatsumaFSoysoy I guess even Gharnef was unhappy with Eremiya that he hired a foreign assassin to be rid of her. Nice clear.

She is of no use to him with that set of skills...

@SatsumaFSoysoy - How did Azura get roped up into helping these goons? Well, either way, Kronya did the heavy lifting while her team of AOE grenades in the back helped her out for the perfect memery.

She just tags along whenever I need her...

  5. Took a bit to grind up feathers so I could meme this properly.

    @mcsilas @Zeo

@Sasori Grats on your fully loaded Gordin. Smart planning with the Special to deal with Miracle.

@NSSKG151 That was a depressing number of 0s. I guess at least they dealt some damage to regular Anna.

@LordFrigid Pulse Smoke is a big RIP for Eremiya's Miracle. What do you think about Guard Bearing for Caeda? I guess since she has an actual Res stat Pegasus Flight might be better in her case. I've been thinking that Guard Bearing might just be better than Belief in Love for YCaeda though, since it lets her safely activate the HP-based Vantage against enemies that she doesn't counter.

@Diovani Bressan Lol, he didn't even need the Vantage. Nothing physical could even touch him.

@Landmaster Elises was just a wash I guess. Nothing much to say other than "this is sad"... Cool Ingrid though, good to see you're already putting her to work.

Dancehardt is definitely the main source of firepower here. Him and SIshtar are quite powerful. The ladies had to take all the heat, unfortunately.

  6. Late because I had to move countries.

Another quality clear from CeliKagero, Azura, and Staff Cav. I’m very impressed that Life and Death Kagero ate Seliph’s Ignis, 50% mitigation or not. Nice job!

Maybe there will be a day when Kagero runs into something she can't tank on PP.... I think maybe Lif could've done it but I forgot.

@SatsumaFSoysoy: Brave to kill of Seliph on Player phase. That was a lot of damage Kagero shrugged off with her personal. Celica was also good at shredding through everything. even blue units.

    That's what they do best.

Minty Cane Chad has quite a lot of sustain... Nice Resp Roy too. He is still pretty tanky.

SatsumaFSoysoy Double lion makes brave Celica and regular Alm so much fun, although Celica definitely uses it better thanks to having a speed stat. Kagero's refine did quite a lot of work this clear against Seliph. Very nice clear!

Maybe BCelica will get Mystic Boost in her refine lol.

@SatsumaFSoysoy - I thought I was going to end up having to use Nowi but all we needed from Mirabilis was her Flower of Ease debuffs so she just got to float around and nap.

A map like this is pretty good for Kagero and Celica since they don’t have to worry about getting clogged up. Really nice use of Kagero’s refine against Seliph, he really can’t handle NFU on top of a weapon that weakens his counter attack. Well played.

Hope she had a good nap.

Kagero does hard counter Seliph's gimmicks with this set. I would say maps where I can push hard to gain a lot of map control fast like LLeif's and Thrasir's are the best for Celica/Kagero, but this wasn't too bad because I happened to be able to make the AI take the scenic route.

@SatsumaFSoysoy Wow Kagero's damage reduction sure came in handy against Seliph! Also love that Threaten skill on Veronica so Kagero can  beat the archer

    If I had LnD4, I wouldn't have needed it...

That nature on LLeif is oof, but he's still pretty strong. He happens to be absent from the reinforcements as per the image in the OP, so I guess he is the challenger after all. He did most of the work here, but Quan had to save his son against Seliph. Bet he liked looking cool in front of the kids.

  7. I use Skill Sets for this purpose, much faster than doing anything manually. Just save your sets in one of the five slots (I like to arrange it so that slot 2 is Arena builds and slot 3 is for AR, but up to you), and you can swap Seals hassle-free by just swapping sets. You can swap sets on the entire team at once for regular teams, AR teams and others, so you don't have to do each unit individually either (which is why I standardize slot purpose).

Just assume this Morgan is Anna's daughter and dyed her hair black out of rebellion. Nice clear btw. Celica wrecks everything as always and I was surprised to see Kagero be the one who took Seliph down.

    Rebellious, huh? Wonder what happened.

Celica couldn't really do anything to Seliph since he's basically immune to being quadded. I could have chipped Seliph down with Veronica, of course, but I didn't even need to in the end.

@SatsumaFSoysoy Let me use dark blessings on offense, IS =(.  Narcian's the secret 13th deadlord - a souvenir from Julius and Ishtar's vacation in Aquleia. x)
Your clears always seem to surprise me in how unconventional they manage to be using (mostly) standard build archetypes.  Like, I don't know what I was expecting out of the Seliph battle, but certainly not Kagero initiating not once but twice, tanking an Ignis along the way.  As an aside, the music you use for these always makes me nostalgic lol.

    Same.

    Vacation? What's Aquleia?

Seliph is the closest to ever cracking Kagero on Player Phase in any Hero Battle so far. I praise him for his effort.

    2002 was 18 years ago.

@SatsumaFSoysoy Wow! Kagero really took a hit from Seliph's Ignis and lived to say it. That's really impressive. Celica quadding is business as usual by now, but I see that she got an upgrade to her C slot with that Joint Drive Atk. RIP Fish. Seems staying on the bottom of the map is the go to strat if you plan to take down all the reinforcements, makes sense considering the Febail-like archer is the only one that spawns around there while everyone else comes from the top.

I had a spare Lilith, so it's ok. The fish lives on in my castle.

Yeah, this map is hard rush upwards on anyway normally.

15 hours ago, Diovani Bressan said:

@SatsumaFSoysoy Great video! Celica showing that she deserves her status as a Brave Hero. I just wished her Royal Sword granted Cooldown-1, like Slaying Edge does. And I also hope she gets a pretty cool refinement once CYL 2 gets it.

The biggest problem is definitely the proximity thing for the cd acceleration. Even if Royal Sword had Slaying, Slaying Edge + Flashing Edge might still be preferrable, especially because then the Royal Sword wouldn't have Spd +3.

@daisy jane Wow, that's a decked-out flier team. Myrrh is very good on this map, really. It's almost like the left side was made for her. Palla was very important with her Duo skill and PP presence, and Fiora rounds out the team with some mixed phase fighting and tanking. Very nice units, good to see you've finally joined us in recording.

I mean, Counterattack and Darting Blow are both good things, but I agree they aren't necessary. And Ferdinand at least can do some of the things that Jeritza can. But Jeritza comes ready-made and ready to go, and can be shaped into almost anything you could want. Getting him to WL is tricky, but not impossible. He can also do any sword class, cavalry class, or brawling class with relative ease, even in 5 chapters. And he's good in all of them, not to mention his great unique class. I guess I just disagree that there isn't enough time to change him if you want, but even if that weren't true, he arrives powerful enough to make your endgame team, with one of the better lances in the game. No effort and adds value - definitely a higher tier pick for me.

I guess it's a matter of perspective here more than anything, since we can agree on Jeritza being strong. I wasn't really saying that he doesn't have time to change him around, but that his availability holds him back too much. He can't contribute to the early and midgame at all, which are often harder than the endgame in pretty much every FE since by endgame all of your other units have had time to grow and have their builds finished. It's true he's very good during the endgame, but it's likely that so will most of your other units, so in terms of contribution I find it hard to say he adds a lot.

  10. I feel like Ferdinand should be rated much higher, maybe just under Sylvain. Their growths are almost the same, and they both have access to Swift Strikes which makes both of them really valuable delete buttons post-timeskip. The only difference is that Sylvain is stupid easy to recruit with FByleth, and his existence grants access to Lance of Ruin. The Lance of Ruin isn't really locked to Sylvain though; since Ferdinand has a Crest, you could give it to him too, and the Gautier-locked Art isn't really that important anyway. I'd argue that Ferdinand has a way better personal skill for Maddening too, since hit rates can be shaky against the fast enemies, and especially pegs.

I also feel like Dorothea deserves to be higher/Constance deserves to be lower, as I'd probably rate them pretty close to each other. They both have a siege spell, but overall Constance's spell list is much worse than Dorothea's. No 2-3 spell (Dorothea has Thoron), Fimbulvetr has unreliable hit (65%), and Constance's only valuable Faith spell is Rescue. You have to build Constance's Faith up to B to get Rescue too, whereas Dorothea gets her prize of Physic at C and doesn't need anymore investment in that skill. Constance's personal skill is also pretty mediocre, as it can't be controlled by the player, and she doesn't gain much from the Spd/Def/Res boosts anyway. Dorothea's is at least useful throughout the whole game, and can be planned around. Main advantage Constance has is that she has boons in the mounted skills instead of banes like Dorothea, I suppose. I guess it depends on how much you value Dark Flier over the other benefits Dorothea has, but since mage combat drops off really hard anyway I find Dorothea's better support to be more valuable.

I think it makes sense that Jeritza isn't in the upper echelons. There's simply not enough game time for him to do stuff that your existing units can't already do, and the things that are broken about him don't have time to matter (DC from class, Darting from Flying etc.).

  11. @LordFrigid Caeda squad activated. Poor Seliph.

@Diovani Bressan Marth helped Marth out a lot with the buffs lol. Invisible buffs are always handy when Panic is in play. Nowi is definitely LSeliph's natural enemy, and he couldn't do anything about it.

@Alexmender Oof. Hilda could take a nap this time, and Tsubasa could go practice dancing or something instead. They weren't needed at all.

@NSSKG151 Damn, the Annas destroyed. NYAnna and Apotheosis Anna didn't even need any sustain. Cool Morgan, too. Daughter of Anna, perhaps?

@Hilda Welp, that was just plonk city. No chance in hell from Seliph.

@DLNarshen How many resets did it take for Julius to say the scion line? Also, Julius is Light blessed too, so he is the real Scion of Light This LHB definitely was perfect for you. Julius' last stand with Ishtar, except Kempf didn't die at Norden Line. And instead of the 12 Deadlords, the true key to victory for Grannvale was Narcian all along. If only the Lopt Sect was able to summon him, but maybe they didn't have Grails. Your units are really strong, and it was nice seeing Julius duel and ORKO Seliph.

@Landmaster Damn, Palm Staff really makes Elise a monster. Patty (the thief) was so fast, yet she easily killed him. I was fully expecting you to use Nowi for this one, but Mirabillis was a pleasant surprise, even if she was just a buff bot. LSeliph's gimmicks can't activate against a Razzle Dazzle, so that was gg.

@Unknown Gamer11 Nice theme team. Don't see Jagen a lot, but Distant Ward is definitely the A skill for him with his big Res. Gordin is pretty strong.

    @Zeo @mcsilas

Here's mine. Wasn't too hard, just had to perfect the positioning and stuff a little bit. I got a little bit stuck halfway, but turns out I just had to go in harder.

Wow, I was expecting at least a little damage from the Axe Cav, but she just hard-walled everything physical. I like that you filled the remaining slots with her...family.

    They watched happily and peacefully.

Poor Sully. Her only chance of victory down the drain.

Right now she has a basic build for AA, just gave her QR Bonfire with Sturdy Stance Seal if no one else is using it. But she takes such little damage from swordies as it is, she doesn't even need huge investment to be good.

Yep, Mirabilis is a certified honorary Elise for now~

Yeah, she's a goddess for AA. I rely on her a lot.

Mirabillis is cute, so that makes sense.

  13. @Diovani Bressan Bram is definitely great in Abyssals, where the enemies' inflated stats only make him stronger. Very impressive showing from him and Lyn.

@Maaka Quick and painless this way. Duo Hector's beam is so broken lol.

@Landmaster Damn, turn 1 kill on Ryoma... That basically made the whole Guidance gimmick with the axe armor fall apart, very nice. Eliwood and Raven are both speed demons.

This one was pretty intense, especially since I didn't have access to any mages or many options in general (never built a Nino lol). Managed to pull it out in the end. There were more sensible ways I could've killed Ryoma, but this is what my 2 am brain shat out.

Song is sung by Ninian's Japanese voice actress, so I decided to go with that. It's like she's singing in the background during the fight like Azura did. @Ice Dragon lol
